Difficulties and strategies to learn English

When one studies another language such as English, there are several difficulties. For me, one of the biggest is having to learn a new vocabulary completely, this includes both learning and saying the objects, and learning the connectors and the different verbs of the language. Another way to learn the language is to know how to arrange the words to form a sentence, in other words, to learn the grammar of the language. Another difficulty that I am going to say is that of having to learn how to pronounce words correctly, that is to say saber as much as the letters are pronounced as to learn where and how to mark the accents. This is due to a large amount of time. One of the last difficulties that can be had is the ability to speak and write spontaneously in the language. Undoubtedly, it is one of the biggest difficulties in the language, since as our brain is used to thinking and speaking in Spanish, getting used to speaking another language is not easy. To improve in these difficulties, to finish saying, I think it is one of the first steps to do is to listen enough to the language, in such a way that the child gets used to it. I also think it is very important to try to think in English, since if we are able to think in English, we will also be able to speak it. At least to me, the latter has been what has helped me the most to learn to express myself in the language.

Changes that I would like to the study program

I think that Chilean education has to improve in several areas. One of these is the time of entry, both for schools and universities. I think the entrance time should be at least 10:00 AM, since it seems to me that being at 8:30 AM is definitely a serious mistake. On the one hand at that time most of us are not in good conditions to learn, due to the fatigue. On the other hand, there are many students who live far from the university, and are forced to get up very early. This, in my opinion, hurts them a lot, given that both the long trip they have to make and the sleep caused by getting up early wears them down, causing them to have less energy to learn. Another of the changes that would make, is to prioritize the understanding of the subject by learning things from memory. This is because there are often subjects where memory is more important than the understanding of the subject. This means that many times the learned material is easily forgotten after having the evaluations. Finally one of the last changes that would be made to force the student to do work with unknown people. This I think is important because when we are professionals, we can not choose who to work with, so we will have to develop skills to work with unknown people. I hope that in the future the changes that I have mentioned can be applied, however I doubt enough that it is possible.

Personal Opinions

Cloning:

I think cloning could be an interesting tool to see how the environment interacts with the organism. You could do research similar to what is done today with twins. For what would be a key tool for scientific advance. For example, cures could be created for certain diseases. I have to say that if, that I would be afraid to be able to make clones of humans, because of what it would mean on an ethical and philosophical level.

Weapons:
On weapons, I think they should not be legalized. We already see how the United States has a serious problem due to legalization. Personally I would be afraid if anyone could have a weapon, because you never know in the hands of who would fall. Shooting in schools, or in public places, are phenomena that occur thanks to easy access to firearms. That's why I think they should not be legalized.


Recycling: Recycling seems an activity that we should all do. As resources are increasingly scarce and we need to manage them well if we want to live in good conditions in the future. There should be campaigns that promote and teach recycling. Many times I think that people do not recycle because they do not know very well how to do it. So it is important that it becomes common to do so.



Abortion:
I believe that abortion in Chile should be legal in certain cases. For example, in cases of women who were raped and do not want to have the child or in cases where the child is unlikely to live. In any case, the decision must always be made by the woman who will have the child.

My Favorite Technological Device

My favorite technological article is my computer. The hours I have spent in front of him are countless. I have to say that since I was a kid I have occupied a lot of computers, both for school and for playing. I currently have a desktop computer, with enough power to run any game of this generation. However, most of the time I spend playing League Of Legends with my friends. A game of category "Moba", where the goal is to destroy the enemy base If someone else plays it, let me in the comments haha). Also, in the holidays I can spend hours and hours in front of the computer, either searching in a pirate website for a game to download or playing League Of Legends with my friends. I have also spent a lot of time playing other games, such as Left 4 Dead 2, or some MMORPG. It is not too much to say, that other pastimes that I do with the computer is to watch series and surf the internet. Also, as I mentioned earlier, I talk a lot with my friends thanks to the computer. For this activity, I occupy a program called Discord, which is quite easy to use and does not tend to fail. Well, that would be all I can say about my favorite technological article. Postgraduate Studies

I have not thought much about the area that I want to specialize, but in the future I would like to be able to study in depth how our nervous system works. That is, everything related to neurons and brain components in general. My goal is to know how our nervous system interacts with the environment, in order to find different types of psychological problems. What has inspired me to delve into this area is the kind of neuropsychology that I have had this semester, in addition to philosophical existentialist ideas that have arisen throughout my life. As for the time I want to study it, I really do not know, maybe a couple of years would be fine, but my idea would be to study while I do some work where I get money. I also think it would be interesting to deepen it in some country abroad, however I have no problem doing it here in Chile. I do not know what else to write about this, I have not really thought much about the future, the only thing is that I like to study how the nervous system works haha. Maybe in the future I do not like it and decide to go into other areas, who knows?

My Fantasy Job

My favorite job would be to be a professional player of League Of Legends, an online multiplayer game, where the objective is to destroy the enemy base with the help of your teammates. I think I would have enough determination to improve continuously and win some important competition. Although the idea of ​​being a player of League of Legends, it seems very absurd, in reality there are professional players who earn a lot of money. It is very similar to being a basketball or football player. For me it would be a very entertaining experience to spend hours playing in front of the computer with my teammates. Devising tactics and continuously improving something should be a good experience. I do not know very well when money could come to win doing it, but I know it would be more than enough to live. To be a professional League Of Legends player, I would have to study how the game works and spend hours practicing in front of the computer. If I win local competitions, I could get to travel to other countries to participate in bigger competitions. The downside of being a professional player of League Of Legends, is that I would have to spend a lot of time in front of the computer, although I think I'm used to that haha.

Fiódor Dostoyevski: A Good Writer.

I do not have favorite writings, however a book that I was read at the coelgio and I liked a lot was "Crime and Punishment" by Fiódor Dostoyevski, a writer of Russian nationality, who was born on November 11, 1821 and died on February 9 of 1881. One of his most important books was "Crime and Punishment", published in the year 1866. Dostoyevski generally puts the characters of his novels in the most extreme situations, tracking their inner conflicts, their deepest motivations, their weaknesses and his yearnings to get ahead. For example in the book "Crime and punishment", we can see how the protagonist fights against the memory of having killed a woman. The style of this writer I like, because it reflects how people think and act in extreme situations. I have also liked other books such as "Steppenwolf" and "The Tunnel" Normally the books that most interest me are those where the protagonist tells us what he thinks and feels, and I also say that I do not read much. (besides the texts of the university), however every time I do, I enjoy it a lot.

The Best Anime I've Seen

My favorite series is "Jojo bizarre adventure". This anime is about the history of the JoJos, that is, characters that are ascendants of the Joestar family. The second part of the anime has Joseph Joestar as the protagonist and is undoubtedly my favorite part. The anime is basically about muscular men posing while they fight with the power of Hamon, a technique that requires mastering the breath. Also the fights are unpredictable, since always the protagonist manages to win in an absurd way. This last is what makes anime especially fun. I do not want to make spoilers of the anime, but the first part for some is quite boring, so if you see it, do not worry if you can not enjoy the first chapters. I assure you that you will end up enjoying it if you see it complete. This anime is for my taste, a masterpiece. Mix humor, action and drama in a unique way. Currently the anime has four seasons, each of about 30 chapters more or less, so if they have time I recommend seeing. Anyone else has seen JoJo? Do you have any anime to recommend?

A Good Vacation That I Had

Well, it is quite complicated to write this post because I have not
had many experiences on vacation, but you had to choose one of the
ones that I liked the most, it would be when I went to Algarrobo.
If I remember correctly was about two or three years ago.
I remember that the place where I went was a house of a friend of my
aunt, which had piscina, a huge patio and some swings.
I remember that every day I went out with the bike to take a couple of
laps around the plot while listening to music, or else I would swing.
Anyway, I had a good time, it was a very quiet and pleasant place,
free from the pollution that is here in Santiago.

I also remember that at night we went around the craft fair and bought

souvenirs. Obviously we also went to the beach, and enjoy the sound

of the sea and the sand. It was a good vacation.

I would like to go again one day. Have you ever been to Algarrobo?

A Country I Would Like to Visit

A country that I would like to visit would undoubtedly be Italy, whose capital is Rome, maybe it motivates me to go to this country because of the way people talk, or because they have an old infrastructure, I do not have it very clear. But what I do know is that I would like to go to this country, famous for its food and culture. A place I would like to go to would be Rome, where I could go to visit the Roman Colosseum, I would also like to go to Venice, where the streets are rivers and the sidewalks are houses. To ride a boat between the houses would be an activity that I would like to do in this place.Also, one of the things that I would like to do in that country, is to try their food, from pizzas to spaghetti. At the same time I would like to be able to listen to the Italians speaking their native language, since I find it very characteristic. I think visiting this country would be a totally new experience, that would stay with me forever.

Post 10: Evaluation of the blog experience.

In general I found that it was a good experience, more than anything because it was so quiet. I also feel that my writing skills improved, so it was a positive experience. In the future, I would like to do similar activities, but I would like to make social interaction between colleagues easier. Also in the future I would like to write extravagant things, maybe make stories or deal with deeper issues. That way you could not even imagine what your partner wrote and it would become a much more entertaining activity. See you, bye!

Post 9- How have you changed?

When I was a child, I feel that I had more energy for everything, I could entertain myself with whatever it was and always seemed to have some activity in which to spend time. For example could be hours playing to imagine that he was a legendary swordsman of a secret corporation and good, it is worth saying, that reaches maximum fun levels thanks to that jaja. The issue is that now I feel I can not do the same, something to cmabiado in me that prevents me from seeing time in the same way as when I was a child (probably cause the anxiety caused by this world jaja). Another thing that has changed in me is my impulsiveness. Before I was a thousand times more impulsive, whenever I was born something, I wanted to do it in the moment. Now instead I feel more control over my impulses, which in its great majority becomes positive. I do not know what else to say about what has changed in me, probably more things than I am aware of. Maybe I could say that now I learn a lot easier than before, which makes the university a lot easier for me. Or also that now I spend more time thought than before (which in my opinion becomes bad enough jaja). Well things change, one changes, but I could say that consciousness is maintained, I feel that at least in me an internal voice has been able to remain unchanged with time haha.
